A juror from Alex Murdaugh’s trial broke his silence within less than 24 hours after returning a guilty verdict for the disgraced lawyer. “We figured it out,” Craig Moyer said. “The evidence was there.”

I’ve served a three week murder trial as a juror. My respect for these jurors who gave up their personal and business lives for SIX weeks and the coming weeks ahead when they will process all they have heard and seen. They will never be the same.

The Judge’s summation should be shared in every law school in this country, and this Judge should be respected and emulated by every member of the American judiciary system! He is empathetic, ethical, moral, patient, kind, and true. Sadly, he’s a rarity in our world!

Alex was literally 'Grandfathered' into a very wealthy and potentially amazing journey to follow his lineage, he had a beautiful wife, 2 strong sons, and he just threw every blessing away. The Judge commented how on drugs people change into someone different and that's truth! My late husband was just like that. By the time it all began crumbling I was in fear of my life and left the State. 6 weeks later all of his lies came home to roost and he did the only thing he could think of rather than facing it, he hurt himself. I would have likely faced some serious retribution if I had not had friends to help me get away.

Once the video made it clear that Alex had lied about being present at the scene of the murders,
I wonder if the defense team themselves questioned his innocence.

I have been saying since Paul's Snap Chap Video was introduced .. that Alex might have gotten away with it if it was not for that one piece of Evidence.. Also the GM ONSTAR and Cell Phone Evidence.. Forget about SLED and the sleezy Defense Attorneys it's the Video that put Alex at the crime scene and the cell phone and GPS that showed how he tried to create his Alibi of going to see his Mother.

I commend the state (prosecutors), law enforcement and the witnesses. Judge Clifton Newman was respectful and professional. Special thanks to Creighton Waters and John Meador, plus Dr. Kenneth Kinsey. It is sad we celebrate the guilty verdict but it is rare to see a wealthy, privileged person be held accountable for their wicked crimes. To all the victims of horrendous crimes, we send you our comfort and healing.

Much respect for this man, and the other jurors. He said when they took an initial poll 2 people said not guilty 😳😳😳 He and the other jurors that helped sway them to the correct verdict is heroic. They were the voices for Maggie and Paul. Justice has been served. Thank you to Paul who had the key piece of evidence that put his father at the scene of the crime. He was a voice from the grave that was crucial in convicting his father. How ironic that the "little detective" solved his and his mother's death. So glad the jury came to the right decision 👏 🙌 hopefully Maggie and Paul's family can start to somewhat heal and get some sort of closure. Alex destroyed so many people's lives. All for Greed, Power, and family legacy. Unbelievable!

No way any jury should be able to come to a conclusion on something of this magnitude in 45 minutes. There is no way that they had any meaningful discussion of facts versus speculation or theory in 45 minutes.
