Voyager left home some 48 years ago, but in spatial thermes it's still on the

If the Milky Way were scaled down to a 100-meter football field, Voyager 1's position would be a mere 0.00264 millimeters from the starting point. This distance is about 20 times smaller than the width of a human hair, which averages around 0.05 millimeters.

it's so crazy to think the distance in space is sooo huge.

I'm shocked all these years it does not get broken, I wonder what materials were used to make it

22 Light Hours is still SO far. Like picture turning on a flashlight. Light travel appears pretty instant to us. Imagine turning on that flashlight and something being so far away, it take almost an entire day for the Light to reach it. It's unfathomable to us.

You think it’s 22 light hours from Earth, but in fact it’s assumed a new name (V’ger) and is heading back to Earth to meet its creator

It is so far from us but yet so close at the same time.

1 light day for Voyager1! Wow! Not a chance of meeting a new Earth of relevance in the future. We are limited to Mars, Venus and the Jupiter Moons for survival as a species in the future while being a suicidal species!

So in 20, 841 years it will reach the closest star? Did I get the maths right? I won't be around by then.
