New law regarding homelessness receives push back

Honestly, I don't care if someone camps out on public property so long as they're not in the way of other people, they keep the place clean and aren't violent or crazy.

They did same thing in Tn even can be given a prison sentence.

This is ridiculous, people can be homeless for multiple reasons. With cost of living at an all time high and companies not willing to increase wages, people are forced to live in cars or on the streets. Most of these cities provide little to no help. Lack of affordability, mental issues, people with medical issues that's unable to work, low incoming areas with low paying jobs, housing shortage, are all examples as to why people are homeless.

We need the whole country to have these laws make the homeless people follow the law shelter or jail should be the only option for them daily drug and alcohol test

In America you are free, yet you can't sleep anywhere legally if you don't have ability to pay for a home. Most of the homeless are mentally ill people who aren't capable of functioning normally. Hope they combine the lack of where people can sleep with enough shelter beds and locking lockers to store belongings while people sleep in shelters. Most homeless are afraid of shelters due to theft and assaults of various kinds while trying to sleep in a group setting where most people around them are mentally ill and homeless also...
