I remember first hearing this theory from reading the Anchorpoint Essays almost 30 years ago. It also posited that while Xenomorphs were thermal chameleons, making them near invisible to thermal imaging and heat sensors, they did give off a distinct EM signature that was detectable with the right scanners.

A small detail I really liked in Romulus was that they elaborated what kinds of acid the Xenos have for their blood. (Sulfuric and Hydrofluoric). I know it’s something nobody other than me cares about but I appreciate it.

A Xenomorph's blood does not completely replace a digestive system. When they're cut open and killed in the movies, we've seen that they have intestines, and we've seen them seemingly feeding on the bodies of their victims.

Makes me wonder what would happen if they were sprayed with massive doses or lye or any alkali equivalent of these substances. I wonder how an alkali equally as dangerous would dissolve the same substances as the acids would. I can’t imagine how explosive the reactions would be if the xenomorph blood and an alkali equivalent blood neutralized each other.
