OMG! I came in today (june25th 2024) and I ask a lady walking by me about a club and it was Jackie!! Very helpful and just great information! I bought the G425.. She explained all the shaft information and club length..I was fitted two weeks ago but I wanted a better upgrade so I stopped in to trade up! Jackie was perfect! So ask for Jackie she is great and a pleasure to talk with!

Loving my sim 2 sonfar, but they are so strongly lofted ther are basically labeled a club lower than what they really are, would be interesting to see them compared tobhhe new stealth irons at a regular swing speed

It seems difficult not to confuse the two irons. My preference is unchanged, Ping G425s. They also work better for Jackie

Looks like the Ping was the club to work with. Much less dispersion. Also she got longer after a few shots. Probably would have been better to do sets of alternating 4.

I play Ping G425 irons and love them (not Alta CB graphite- using Nippon 950 GH steels).
Were these both standard lies?
I also like not having super strong lofts. 30 degree 7I is strong but can still spin and hold green. I played Rogue X previously and they were just too low with no spin…

Would you say most people you work with favor the ping over sim2 ? I found the sim2 for a great deal.. I can pass them up and pay for a fitting then save for whatever they recommend or bite the bullet on a good deal. (500.00 for 7 irons that were demos)

Sim2 Max is really a 6 iron… how about compare similar lofts?

According to Maltby the sim max is 0.5g heavier than the g425 head.

🤦🏾‍♂️ I disagree with their assumption of only the SHAFT difference is why Jackie hits these two different irons differently. The loft, lie & MOI are different between these two irons from these two different manufacturers. 🤷🏾‍♂️

The hosel didn’t look right on the G425. Was the tester using irons fitted to her? Given the variables not controlled, I think your test was not very meaningful. Sorry.

Get rid of these silly clubs and get the Wilson cb forged... you'll love 'em. Feel and look awesome, handicap is nonsense... anyone can hit them.
