Can Team TaylorMade Tell if it's Forged or SIM Max? | TaylorMade Golf

Our new SIM Max irons are engineered to sound and feel great at impact. With an improved SpeedBridge and new ECHO Damping system, they're the best-feeling game improvement iron we've ever designed. With such a sweet sound we were wondering if Tiger, Rory, Rahm, DJ, Collin and Matt could tell the difference in sound between Jason Day's P·760 gamers and SIM Max at impact, while blindfolded. Here's the results.

I just got fitted for the sim max irons, they are fantastic! KBS max 65 graphite shafts. They explode off of the club face. Now I have to figure out the distances on each iron. Great job Taylor Made.

Rahm's comment "no clue what we are talking about" says more to me that nobody really cares what your irons sound like, pro or amateur. Not a several hundred dollar sales proposition.

To all of you who dis game improvement irons, go hit some persimmon woods and 1960s blades. Better yet some hickory shaft clubs from the 1930s. Comparing your blades with what Arnold Palmer played is like comparing today’s blades and drivers to game improvement clubs. I’d love to still be able to play blades but at my age and swing speed that makes no sense at all and I still want to have fun. Sound and feel is important and I also want to take some of your hard earned cash next Saturday. 😎

I hit the Sim Max OS last week and they do feel Great! Much better than the Ping 710s. Also about 10-15 yards further. Ordering them next week. I'm not a great
