When Miss Clavel and the girls go to the funfair, which ends with in a thunderstorm and thus forcing them to go back to the old house, Madeline runs away to join the circus, only to get kidnapped along with Pepito by three clowns and Leopold, but in the TV series, Madeline and Pepito were unintentionally left behind on the ferris wheel in the rain and they were well looked after by the gypsies and the circus performers.

I mean, that truck🚚 Leopold just drove would've been perfect for the live-action remake of 101 Dalmatians from 1996.

OMG, quite a dark scene when Pepito’s parents are out there screaming his name like that in the rain. It’s like every parents worst nightmare when taking their children to a fun fair or carnival when they are all of a sudden nowhere to be seen.

The quality is bad but I cant complain since this seems to be the only clip of this scene I can find on YouTube. Pretty creepy to think that it was filmed almost a decade before Madeline Mccann's kidnapping though

Can somebody please help me?
When I first saw this movie in 1998 when I was 8 years old, I could not admit that this scene terrified me. When a circus came, I was afraid to go because I was afraid that I too would get kidnapped by clowns-and imprisoned, tied up in the back of their van. Rather than admitting to my fears and giving my mom and dad a chance to get me over my fears, I did not admit that I did not want to go to the circus until we were about to walk out the door. My mom washed and ironed my best dress and got me all ready to go out, my dad left his whole evening free-all for nothing! When my mom said it was time to leave for the circus, I got even more terrified and finally admitted that I did not want to go. My dad, exited to go to a circus himself, asked me why I did not want to go, but I refused to say anything. I was afraid to even admit to my fear. Now in my 30's, I am very ashamed of what I did, I could have done much better, but did not. does anybody have advice on how I can finally get past the guilt and shame of all that I did?
