The only two things I can think of for the code name "Ounce" are:

1. Referring to size or weight, obviously. Maybe referring to how much power they are cramming into a tight space. Something like this makes the most sense and is most likely.

2. Ounce, as in, the amount of patience Nintendo seems to have on emulators and emulation in general these days. Because it seems like they barely even have an ounce of patience with emulation and fan projects. Maybe this meaning is not so likely, at least officially.
