.310 BA, .377 OBP, .440 SLG, .817 OPS, for a 115 OPS+. Off those statistics alone, you cannot tell me he isn't good. Not a top 20 of all time talent, but he's up there with the greats.

I’m okay with this. This is only the third collector’s edition in the series, and the two on the cover before then were Jackie Robinson and Shohei Ohtani. Needless to say, the standards for these cover are vague, putting it mildly.

As for Jeter being overrated, when it comes to shortstops and being in the Hall of Fame, absolutely not, he belongs in it for offense alone. I do think the media blew him up way too much though, because everyone secretly wanted his babies. Also because he appeared on Seinfeld, but then again, so did Keith Hernandez, one of the most underrated first basemen ever.
