I had a mini R56 for my first car, drove it into the ground with 150, 000 miles on it, and loved every second of it. MINIs are fantastic cars that make you smile every time you walk out to go somewhere in it, and keep that smile on your face the whole trip.

As a new Mini owner (coming from Audi) I love my Mini. It’s faster then the Audi and it’s just a fun car. I think people are too critical of cars. Especially if they don’t own one.

I always like the strawman argument that MINIs aren't mini anymore. Like they are huge cars now. They are only big in comparison to the original which is truly tiny. They are still the smallest in their segment. And considering they are stuffed with all the latest in tech, safety, and luxury requirements, its no surprise they weigh quite a bit more than the original.
