I was able to film a few epic crosswind landings in 2019 and I decided to edit a ranked video of the most amazing x wind landings. I included the crazy Airbus A380 go around at Amsterdam Schiphol and the Boeing 747 of KLM which almost touched the ground with engine number 4 after fighting with 40 knots crosswind from the south.

But my personal highlight of the year was the crosswind landing of the Antonov An-124 of Volga Dnepr which touched down with the front gear. Watching such a massive plane with the main gears in the air while the front gear already slided above the ground was a breatheaking moment and the most amazing aviation moment of 2019 for me.

Thanks for watching, I hoped you enjoyed my TOP 10 Crosswind compilation. New videos every tuesday and friday. you can exectp a 60 minute aviation review of year 2019 next tuesday.

Good job KLM Dreamliner crew! Timely go-around then absolutely greased the second attempt! I'd fly with them any day!

I’m still so mystified by how these big, heavy loads of metal could lift itself up to the skies and glide back to touch the ground like a soft feather. It’s so damn beautiful.

In my opinion KLM cargo pilot did an excellent and aggressive touch down, cargo pilots are breed apart, no nonsense pilots kudos to their great piloting skills 👏

Reminds me of the time my dad tried a severe crosswind landing. A 1946 Ercoupe. He was crabbing so bad that I had to lean forward to see the runway . He set us down with a "chirp" from the main wheels. I pounded his shoulder all the way through to stop. Wish he'd been as good a father as a pilot.

I have to say this;
4 million people have watched this video and only 17, 000 could be bothered to click the like button! Seriously?
And I bet many of those are people who have watched it more than once.
Such a shame ppl can’t be bothered to make a little click, just to say well done and thank you, for all the hard work that goes in to making these superb aviation videos.
This is top quality content and I think people should show their appreciation more.

not gonna lie, I really respect the Go-Arounds. I'd much rather wait a little longer to land than to have a pilot force it onto the runway. Quite a show of skill here.

If that’s a stream next to the runway I would want to go fishing and watch the planes land! I’m shocked and amazed, these are brave and accomplished pilots. God bless them!

Flying - 95% routine boredom and 5% sheer terror!

Omg, that Antonov An-124 bouncing on its front wheels was MAD!

These modernvplabes are absolutely beautiful, with their blended bodies and comokez wing shapes. Watching them flex is really striking. The professionism of these pilots is outstanding. Watching that 500 ton A380 Eniratea plane buffet from below was incredible.

I did a private pilots licence in stormy n.scotland. On cessna 150s. Believe me crosswind landings and short strip landings are sweat inducing, gut wrenching, muscle clenching nightmares. Respect for these pilots. They were off auto, and with tonnes of aircraft, passengers etc. Respect!

Probably the most satisfying aspect of this video ( when watching in Feb/Mar 2022), is being able to view it without having to endure that loud mouthed ‘big jets’ yobbo and the attendant inane drivel.

The other pure pleasure is realising, yet again, how civilised/enlightened the Dutch are to take a chair out to that splendid viewing spot . 😎

OMG, The Antonov actually made a nose landing... that is so crazy!

Its always satisfying to watch a Boeing 747 specifically land crosswind.
