I wonder if tere would be a way to improve this design by making like artificial pineapple skin fabric, (like finding out exactly how pineapples are so fire-resistant and recreating that), so it could be made into proper fireproof garments instead of pineapple skins hot glued to a biker jacket, which granted looks cool in its own right but would be impractical for the needs of say a firefighter

using a thin layer of water between two surfaces would probably work better and be reusable (if you can refill the water.)

Glues, continental, but I'd recommend if you look into Kevlar or any forms of armor there bound with string, so look into sewing and flame retardent trings😊

great, NOW i have to incorporate an organization of dragon hunters that wear pineapple-leather armor into my fantasy worldbuilding project.
