That high speed shoot walking across the street hits the mark! Very much on point! As usual, love the shots you captured and I think your models outfit and look matched the 90’s theme to the “T”. Good work man.

I shot on camera flash using a my trusty Gary Fong light sphere. I was indoors bouncing off the interior walls. Pics came out great. I also have one of those flash holders it mount to the camera it raises the speedlight a few inches above the camera body. Those work pretty good just heavy and a pain because it's not portable.

Get a cheap, light monopod and put the flash on it. I do it sometimes. Works wonders for what you were doing here.

Well, flat lighting certainly has its place and it can look good. But it’s a little bit of an acquired taste. Flat doesn’t have to mean lifeless, though.
