There was panic across the country after it emerged that the Kenya National Examinations Council had used the wrong results in computing the mean scores of candidates that sat the music paper in last year's KCPE exams. Indeed, the council confirmed that it had withdrawn the music paper results for more than one thousand four hundred candidates. The council says it had sent dummy results and not the final tabulations and had already dispatched the final results to some sections of the country. The council has however assured the public that no one will be affected by this turn of events as it had used the proper results when tabulating the final scores. Andrew Ochieng reports on the exams results glitch.
