Minecraft Simple 11 Type Tree Farm (15 Minute Build, Self-sustaining, Java 1.16 - 1.21+)

preview_player
Показать описание

A Universal Tree and Nether Tree Farm that can be built in as little as 15 minutes providing positive returns on bonemeal whilst being surprisingly quick in all 11 modes (oak, azalea, birch, spruce, acacia, jungle, cherry blossom, warped and crimson as well as both red and brown mushrooms).

This is an upgraded version of Ianxofour's Versatile Tree Farm which includes a system to filter out and compost items, as well as a couple improvements to the item collection making the farm a bit faster and more efficient overall at the cost of a bit more build effort.

►notes & corrections:
- This also works with brown and red mushrooms if you replace the dirt with podzol
- 0:21: For jungle saplings, I recommend a stack of saplings to guard against back luck as you get started
- 2:06: You may need to clear out low-hanging leftover blocks, like wart blocks and vines, before you start farming huge brown mushrooms, spruce, and acacia.
- 4:18: That last eastern cobble block I placed should've instead been a non-solid block such as glass as otherwise one of the item filters can periodically jam
- Weeping vines can also be composted, and so can shroomlights, if you don't want to save them.

*THIS DOES NOT WORK ON BEDROCK*

For help related to the TNT system/duper I recommend asking on Ian's server instead as the people on there are used to troubleshooting tnt issues:
The tnt systems between the 2 farms are identical and so I wasn't the one who designed the tnt on my upgraded version and hence I won't be able to help you as much as someone on Ian's server

*Rates*
_Sapling Mode (all have positive sapling return)_
- Birch: 10600 logs/h 3600 saplings/h (uses 10250 bm/hr)
*- Oak (from azalea) 10400/hr (uses 4100 bm/hr) this is the recommended option for farming overworld logs*
- Oak: 7900 logs/h 3800 saplings/h 370 apples/h (uses 6250 bm/hr)
- Spruce: 7700 logs/h 3700 saplings/h (uses 8650 bm/hr)
- Acacia: 6800 logs/h 3400 saplings/h (uses 8550 bm/hr)
- Jungle: 6900 logs/h 1200 saplings/h (uses 5100 bm/hr)
- Cherry: 14, 500/h (from snapshot)
all produce 1600-2300 sticks/h

_Huge Fungus Mode (selfsus)_
- Warped & Crimson:
8000 stems/h
1530 shroomlights/h (can compost but these are usually desired and rarer)
45000 wart blocks/h (equivalent to 5460 bonemeal/h)
2000 weeping vines/h (equivalent to 142 bonemeal/h) (crimson only)
Uses 5000 bonemeal/h (400/h or so left over) and 1440 fungus/h

All run @ ~0.5 mspt (i5-9400f, sodium 1.19.3)

Note: For azalea you have to hold the non-flowering azelea in your hand and also i'd recommend composting the extra azalea and flowering azalea as they provide a non-negligible amount of bonemeal in return

After years and hours of making the most complicated designs, here we see a man that has thrown away everything to make a farm so basic he could fit a full tutorial in the vid. Truly inspiring stuff, maybe the best things are the simple things :)

Made this farm and it works amazingly! Great video only issue was how fast you were going, i was pausing maybe every 2 seconds so it took me maybe 30 minutes too build which is fine its well worth the time and that's just that nature of tree farms as they are quite complicated. But yours is by far the best ive seen so i have no issues taking my time with the build.
No issues with this farm besides the automatic bonemeal part, as my bonemeal runs out in my hand far before i get refilled from the system but i have bonemeal farm nearby anyway so it's not biggie. Great vid my man

Hi. Great farm and well modified from Ian's. But some constructive feedback here. It would be great if you would explain in more detailed when you placed down the materials. There were too many parts where you skipped mentioning certain important blocks/slabs that I have to watch it multiple time to get it right since you are placing the things very fast. Also, since you're using cobblestone, it's even harder to see whether it is a slab or full block. So maybe use smooth stones next time so that it is easier to see the partition or at least use different materials between slabs and a full block. Someone like me likes to follow along the video rather than download the world/schematics to copy. Other than that, you actually have a great tutorial. Earned a sub here. Looking forward to your future videos.

Built it in hardcore and its going to be a great wood source. Only requires a bonemeal farm. Thanks a lot for the tutorial! Works like a charm

I like the trapdoor pathway where you can select if items get composted or not

That is awesome, this is exactly what I have been waiting to do myself since Ian published the original video. I already have a UTF, and mainly wanted Ian's farm for Nether trees/fungi. Laziness and procrastination once again paid off, thanks!

Thanks a ton was gonna start farming for hours on my first decently progressed hardcore world and thought there had a better way and found this video. Farm works great 😊.

I wish you would describe more, like instead of saying doing this, for things that are positional either add directionality or a world reference litematica. Also using polished blocks makes it easier to follow for future videos. But amazing design and still so happy to have a tutorial just some advice for future videos. Love to see the complexity yet simplicity

Hey, love the farm! One suggestion: when going at this speed, please use a different-looking slab so it's easier for those following to distinguish between a full block and a half slab. We ran into a couple problems when troubleshooting with exactly that!

Lovely design, works like a charm. The only thing i noticed is that on your material list you put 16 hoppers when you actually end up using 30 . Besides that, great work!

Guys make sure to watch closely if he places slabs or solid blocks 😅

Note: If you do not intend to plant nether trees, you can use dirt as the bottom planting block, meaning you don't need to go and harvest nether soil.

Wow I'm so happy!!! I took ages trying to figure out all the things I did wrong with the tnt duper and item sorting, and finally figured it out thanks to the faq document. Thank you so much for the incredible farm, and hard work answering questions!! The farm works great!! 😊

Very nice build, I just have a couple of queries:

1 - When sorting the item filters for the auto storage section, the first filter which i have assigned the warped stem filter, it locks the final hopper closest to the first double chest, so the items do not go into the storage, they just sit in the final hopper just above. But the 2nd hopper which I assigned to crimson stem, works just fine.

2 - When testing the farm in creative, I would throw lets say 3 stacks of the specific item i want to test into the collection pool, but in the storage, it only seems to have collected a fraction of the amount, usually 25-30 items at a maximum.

Very cool video and farm. Wanted to upgrade Ian's farm myself, but now I may just end up using your schematic. Thanks a lot.
