What a fucking masterpiece of a scene. Taka debuting as the *terrifying* Imperfect Cell, the lack of noise, everything synced up *just* right, courtesy of Kaiser, even Piccolo is unsettled, and only when this *creepy* rendition of Mr Sandman is over, do we get to see the perpetrator of these mass murders.

Let’s be honest: whether it’s the original, dub or abridged Imperfect Cell is actually best Cell.

Not most powerful. But the best. His design is unique. His style is unique. He is the creepiest villain. He uses stalking and scare tactics. He hits and runs. He is WEAKER than several cast members at the start of his arc and still terrifying.

Best. Cell.

Holy crap, he’s singing about himself and wanting to be Perfect. Which is why he opens up after becoming Perfect with a song about being Perfect. It’s not just appropriate in the moment, it was foreshadowed from the first second we can hear Cell!
