I'm 19 and don't use social media much but I'm impressed by the amount of time people my age are on their phones. Many colleagues of mine are obsessed with their phones, it's difficult to have a pleasant conversation with them; rather than them being engaged in our conversation, they pull out their phones to check instagram or twitter which is rude and frustrating. I strongly believe people are losing social skills and forgetting the value of a strong relationship because of social media. If you don't think our society is fucking up with constant use of social media then you're not thinking hard enough.

VERY TRUE. I enjoy visiting with my family and friends.  Touching and hugging are very
important. Knowing how someone feels and knowing how someone feels on Facebook are two different things. There is a disconnect there. It is called the real thing not a text which is so unfeeling. And not personal touch with people.
