Thank you!! This does work. If your PC freezes, don't kill the program, let it sit for a few minutes. It will eventually go back to your desktop. It doesn't look like anything happens, but reboot your PC and then things will work again!

Worked for me, had to do it on every pc connected to the network, even the ones that could connect to the internet, for this to work properly, but many thanks a great simple solution.

Thanks, that fixed two Windows 7 computers after a huge power outage then surge had knocked them off the internet. One note, reboot after installation of Reliable Multicast Protocol was required.
