It has been a minute! We've been super busy the past month but we managed to squeeze out another video and this time it's about the 5 things you should do and shouldn't do when it comes to dodging in dodgeball!

Pancaking is the way but you gotta learn to move quick afterwards. I’d highly recommend burpees into anyones training setup for knowing how to fall & get back up quicker AND safer!

One time at my church camp we were playing dodgeball at night and there were thirty+ people on each team so I went off toward the side and started army crawling my way to the line and was able to get out there best player since none of them were paying attention to me

I'm a bit big so I dodge sideways with a jump so no one gets my toes and if the ball hits me high then I create a little catching box and the ball doesn't drop to the ground because it lands on the top of my thighs.

You can use the early dodge to your advantage by psyching them into thinking that you will dodge a certain direction, but you can go a different direction and trip them up. It takes some brain power, but if you can, then it's pretty worth it for the counterpush you can do if they're tripped up by it.
Edit: however, don't do this too much or they will catch on. Use it in unexpected moments for them.

i play dodgeball all the time in p.e class, when i dodge to my knees, because i’m a softball catcher, i maneuver around really well on my knees, so the amount of times that i’ve been able to throw, go down to my knees, dodge, throw, get back up again, and continue is crazy, i also dive a lot, i dive to catch, and i dive to throw, yes sometimes it doesnt work out, but a lot of times it does, i can pancake and slide around, i usually wear baggy clothes so it catches air and makes it easier to land in my opinion, it a, so makes it easier to slide around, but yeah.

I have an membership to a trampoline park, and there is a dodge ball area, I go there every day mostly and I’ve gotten tunneled visoin so many times. A lot of the kids also pancake there.

I don't actually practise dodgeball, I practise taekwondo but it helps me a lot with movement, Im already insane at dodging, I need to throw a little better, thats it

We have dodgeball games in every pep rallies. This year was our turn because we were juniors. The females were happy to play, but the males were hesitant and we saw why. We waited until the last minute to get the boys to join the game. They didn’t even last until the entire game and they were already out because we were playing against the senior boys. Our females beat the senior girls and lost against the female teachers. Our boys lost against the senior boys and the male teachers.

Can’t imagine joining next time. Our boys lost against the senior boys because of the amount of power the seniors were using to throw theirs. Some balls were managed to hit the wall where the teachers were standing at a great velocity. Some balls were going sideways.

Once I was right next to the line and tripped into a pancake with enemies right next to me but I dodged 2 throws back to back and was not hit!

i got better in final four/dodgeball everyone says i suck and im trash in the past but on this one day i got revenge
