Something else you could do for that new shopping district is change the building style to Shopping Mall, something else that also came with the Shopping Malls Content Creator Pack, which might fit in a bit better look wise? Though I guess it'd depend on what buildings end up popping up after the change.

In today’s episode we see a adult kibitz turn into a child on Christmas morning

Florida usually has a lot of open air malls from what I’ve seen but areas in the north are closed air malls due to the cold

So excited for the next episode of just getting to see the city being fixed up with these new great features. A lack of proper roads was quite the issue for a long time with how many available transit options there are, but this just makes that so much less of an issue and some of the hubs are just incredible. The mall DLC seems like a side thing, which speaks to how good the dev team is that they focused on some things that desperately needed to be done and shoved the routine monetization to the side to fix these problems the game had. You'll notice they also added a highlight for the type of roads that include the transit type you've selected when making routes, which is amazingly convenient - this applies to buses, trams, monorails, and whatever else you place on the roads, as well as to independent tracks, I believe. And parking. Citizens love their parking.

For the commercial buildings there’s a shopping mall district style but they’re also a little plain. You can use the mod BOB to put some logos on the buildings. I did that with the shopping plaza (brown/white building)
