The Fender ’68 Custom Pro Reverb tube combo amplifier takes everything you love about late-’60s Fender amps and optimizes it for modern gigging guitarists. Loaded with a 12AX7 preamp section, 6L6 power tubes, and built-in spring reverb and tremolo, you’ve got every classic Fender amp tone at your fingertips. And thanks to the addition of a Mid tone control, you have even more sound-shaping capability than vintage models offer. Plus, you’ll definitely appreciate the reduced size and weight of the cabinet, loaded with a single 12-inch Celestion Neo Creamback speaker.

Fender has really smart engineers they keep getting it right model, after model. I never own a Fender amp but the day is coming.

I'm in love! Checks off every want on my list. Single channel, 12 inch speaker, under 50 watts, under 50 lbs, 6V6/6L6 type tubes.. awesome awesome release.

Real nice sounding amp, could cover a lot of styles with it.

This demo really showed me what a beautiful sounding amp this is. Well, done, Don! It checks off every box for me. Enough power for club gigs but not overkill for intimate performances or rehearsals. Lightweight 35 lbs! No redundant second channel. In this demo the amp sounds so incredibly clean. What mic is that? I can't see it clearly. I ordered the amp yesterday because my long-time goto amp, a 1994 Concert Amp, has become unreliable and has been repaired at least 5 times. It will be good to have a sweet sounding brand new amplifier!

As long as it doesn’t have the noise issue my 65’ AND 68’ deluxe Ri had it might be my new favorite amp. Perfect combo of tone, weight and looks. So glad they went with a creamback and only one channel at 40 watts! What’s not to love?!

Poison Ivy's (The Cramps) favorite on-stage amp was a Pro Reverb, but with a 15" in it. I'm used to playing through a friend's silver face Pro Reverb as well. It'll be interesting to crank this one up and see how it sounds when pushed.

Wow, I didn't know the reissue Pro R was a single 12, single channel. I have an original '68 and love it. Good demo, it sounds great!

How is it at low volumes ? Good for bedroom and gigging ?

Hey Don, many people say that the custom pro reverb hums on its own, even at reduced volume. Is this true?

Really want to see the new Vibro champ

I love fender tube amps they are delicate, fussy and the Diva of amplifiers. But that open sound and crispy treble has no peers. I've the 2 speaker twin reverb one it actually as old as it looks
