This was my fave issue from back then, but its been long gone for many years.
I was able to find and download this issue from a retro mag website onto my tablet a couple days ago. You need one of those comic reader apps because its a CBR format. But it was great reading the reviews on the console versions mortal kombat again. Lol, this issue stopped me from getting the GameBoy version.

Thanks again. I am looking forward to watching more and more Gamepro presentations in the future. How many issues do you own? You know, here in Greece, Gamepro debuted in April 1995 and stopped publishment some years ago. It was one of the best and most popular video games magazine in Greek market. I own some of the first issues and they are like a holy grail for me :). The first issue had Killer Instinct characters on it cover.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, reading all this stuff is like a time machine that sends you back in the golden era! I've started collecting retro consoles and I like it a lot. To be honest, I don't give a s**t to any PS3 or Wii or Wii U with all this fantastic graphics and bla bla bla. I am still happy playing my old 8, 16, 32bit consoles and I recall when I was a teenager.

I am glad you like the videos, They must have started shipping GamePro to Greece later. I know it was around hear before 1995. I have every issue more or less from 1993 to 2001. I got Nintendo power up until 1993, then got GamePro. Although I like GamePro I wish I would have continued getting Nintendo Power. I did not know that GamePro was popular in Greece I thought it was a US magazine only.

Due to the fact that Mortal Kombat series (till MK Trilogy) is one of my favorites in video games, I was searching for this issue on ebay but zero results. I would love to own this issue since, as I can see, there are complete proreviews for Mortal Kombat. Consider yourself lucky owning Gamepro issues. :-).

Check out RetroMags they have a lot of Gamepro Magazines scanned and archived in comic reader files (zip). I am glad I still own them. It is like going back in time everytime I read one. Good memories.

Actually it was a translated version of the US Gamepro in Greek language with more or less the same layout, same cover etc.Nintendo Power was ok, but except for Gameboy and SNES I have never owned an NES, so I was not interested in such a magazine.Nevertheless, I have bought from ebay 2 DVDs of Nintendo Power scaned issues from the year 1988 till 1995.Nintendo and Sega Power were also publised in Greece (translated versions) but there were not so popular as Gamepro.

May I ask a favor? Could you please give us the ratings for Mortal Kombat on Game Boy? I think I saw 2.0 for sound. I know the game sucks, especially its controls, but at least it had nice music theme (better than the Game Gear let me say). What is the row from left to right in ratings? Graphics, sound, controls, fun factor? Thanks.
