This is probably Boris going to his little safe space because from where you encounter him it’s nearby. Boris might also be hiding from the keepers, because he would be considered a cycle breaker due to his integral role in batim

Honestly I don't know where in the cycle this tales place since they're all alive but then what if they just respawned.

But if they did Allison wouldn't have said how killing Susie was family if she had already known she did. But then again. She does know Henry which means it could have already happened. But Henry could've just spoke to her before meeting Susie.

to clear many things up, The Game is set in sort of an entire new universe to BATIM. meaning the original events of that game never transpired because Wilson Intervened. And since then it is safe to assume that Henry was taken at some point near the beginning of his journey before he ever meets boris and either started remembering the previous cycles or was simply told by the keepers from which sort of jogged his memory. either or when we play the game that had us play boris and taking a look in Boris pad in the original BATIM, we know that he has been surviving by scavenging and avoiding conflict using the vents.

so sadly this may actually be our Original Boris but due to his survival skills, He was never captured by the keepers or wasn't even deemed a cycle breaker since he dies in the original cycle either way this Boris doesn't know about Henry nor would he really care since doing so would most likely get him killed. Remember in the Original cycle Henry sort of just runs into Boris on what could be one of Boris scavenge runs. and after showing no means of being a threat Boris just allows him to tag along.

Interesting, it seems that since the Keepers captured Henry after a cycle reset, Henry never met Boris, therefore he never gets captured by Alice and dies. So looks like he's just surviving now!

On batim chapter 3 boris went in the vent for a while and when u meet him again I think he’s a replacement
