Just so y'all know you can get by with like four bananas and once you've killed the boss you can go back into the hideout guard-free and get all the stuff you missed without the impending fear of death. So don't worry too much about getting all the things beforehand

I was stuck on this part for over a year, when I got to the final room I was still relearning the controls and I blew my whistle 3 times, all 4 guards came and they notices me but I quickly magnetized the door and went through without getting hit. I'm still recovering from a heart attack 🙃

Another tip, when you’re on that pillar at 1:35, you can drop 3 peppers, set them on fire and it will create a updraft, which will carry you to the top of that center structure which is impossible to climb. That’ll get you to the highest point easily.

PRO TIP: Don’t waste time trying to fly though the spikes for the 2 Rubies chests. Use a fire arrow or a torch and burn the middle banner on the left-hand side of the room. It’s an instant pathway AFTER you beat the boss. No need for ol Linky to be shishkabobed.
ALSO: Come here after you get the upgraded Stasis rune, then freeze the big lugs to run past.
