I first applied Oramask 813, and then clamped it on his Axiom AR8 CNC. Then the item no. RC-1111 140° Insert carbide ‘V’-Groove router bit featuring 3-5/64" diameter, 1/2" cut height and 1/2” shank.

This bit makes a very clean cut with no cleanup work needed at all especially with the cleanup pass built into the @vectricltd software! It is perfect for situations like this with a large logo and 1/2" plywood since it doesn't carve deep to fill the design.

The piece was then painted using a custom mix of General Finishes Holiday Red and Sunglow Yellow milk paint. After it was dry, the mask was peeled off to reveal the finished sign! I'm very happy with how this sign turned out! #short #shorts

What's the f point if you don't use even 1/3 of it's diameter? To make more load on spindle's bearings? 😂
