The pinnacle of entitlement has to be a parent whining about how childcare is too expensive for everyone therefore the CB should be exempt. I thought employers had to hire someone before trying to take advantage of them?

The idea about the non-alcoholic drinks is actually excellent.

If you are mixing/making drinks, it's actually a lot cheaper (free, practically), as well as simpler, faster and easier to mix a drink without alcohol...it could potentially save the business a little money, and who knows, it could stop a relapse, dui, or god knows what else. One, single drink at the wrong time has killed and hurt countless people.

I've bartended for years, more than a decade, actually, and will always give someone a non-alcoholic drink in order to help with their sobriety, and no restaurant or bar I have ever worked for has had any problem or issues with it.

My grandpa was a doctor back in the 50s and had his own office. He had a reputation for doing good work and doing good by people so was popular with a particular local religious community who would ALWAYS play the "doing God's work" and "think of the children" type lines to get cheaper rates on procedures. They were easy to recognize so after the 2nd time he started upping his rate so that he could "let" them haggle him down to the actual rate. Everybody walked away happy.
