Asking someone to work for 2 days, but only offering to pay them $50 is not something most people would do. The beggar in this Walkback Wednesday Episode of r/choosingbeggars is someone who definitely would, enjoy!!

I absolutely HATE moronic self centered people who don’t consider that showing up to a restaurant or any business 20 minutes before closing is a real 💩 faced thing to do.

I worked at a place where there was a few people who would come in right at closing knowing it was closing . We would just start turning off the lights and sometimes they would take the hint

Posting for a friend. If you were a real friend you stop them rather than help them

"Demolish my house and pay me, er "a friend", for the privilege!"

There's nothing different between named brand and off brand.

Babysitter? For that!?

The programmer one. "I'll take my _business_ somewhere else"!? What business? 😂

Oh my god that list! I'm wondering what sort of catfishing they want to do!

They want all that from a babysitter for so little?

The no-show one, what an idiot!

Turn down a rib-eye meal and wanting money instead (I assume for food).

The last one - 20 minutes before closing? That's disgusting to react like that! The least one can do if it's a sit-down meal is to ask if it's okay. Some restaurants would be grateful for extra customers, others might have been rushed off their feet! Be thoughtful and put yourself in their position!

Great video, mate!

4:04 I really love these post where someone wants to do something special for their family and all they do is try to grub off of others and do exactly nothing.

HAHAH...75 bucks a week with no mention of how many kids but obviously multiple. Who would even take that on regardless of a degree? 60 hours a week (or more) and has to clean..that's like a $1.25 an hour. No one can live off $300 bucks a month. What a clown.

Last story: If I ran a restaurant, I'd have signs up at the front door and at each table saying "We deny new customer orders for food 45 minutes before closing. If you only want to drink, that is fine but no food". I'd also have the staff who is seating new customers in the 45 minute time frame before closing tell said customers the same thing as the notices. When they complain (you know they won't read signs or listen to servers) tell them to go complain online if they do not like it. Then blast them in the comments after they refuse to acknowledge all the warnings.

I've had quite a few "once in a lifetime opportunities" to do development work on projects that have no funding - but no worries, we'll pay you out of the massive profits. Everyone says they have a good idea and they're going to be making money hand over fist. Good ideas are dime a dozen. It's all the time and expertise necessary to take that good idea and build even a skinny startup company around it that can compete for attention with all the other startups with good ideas that's the hard part. That's easier these days, but it still doesn't happen by magic.

Most well run restaurants have posted notices that no new orders are taken after a certain time. And the staff inform new arrivals of this.

I have nothing against higher education, or nannies/babysitters, but why does someone need a bachelor's degree to do either job? And they want to pay $75 a day to someone with a degree? For all that work? They're nuts.

In sorry, but i have to say it. That whiny, nasaly voice that you're doing for interpretations of the beggars is ridiculously annoying. I had to stop a few seconds into the video.

Here's the thing, if you're going to phrase it as "sit at my house overnight" and "for a little extra money" then you get what you pay for. Your kid wakes up wanting something? Not my job. Emergency? Not my job. Anyone asks for anything? Not my job. You can't downplay the job to get away with paying not even a remote fraction of minimum wage AND get everything you want for the full job you're pretending doesn't count.

Also, what terrible parent would let their minor child work for pocket change for a total stranger to be solely responsible for 3 kids overnight at a stranger's house?
