People could learn from this video on how to do a "how to" video. No fluff, no wasting time, but still covered all the crucial parts. Thanks for this.

This is great! I’m pretty confident I can install my new microwave once I pick it up. I’m so glad I won’t have to shell out more money on an installation.

TY for this boost of DIY confidence. Got my new microwave on sale for $180....professional install was going to be $299!! Hard no, sir!

Great video. To the point, and no time wasted. I like the pace very much, but it may be a bit fast for someone that does not have some hands-on with handywork at home. Thanks a lot of sharing your expertise.

This was awesome. You didn't make me feel like an idiot, you also didn't make it seem like it was an easy thing to do. This really is a great video, I hope it goes well tomorrow when I replace a Kenmore with an LG. I appreciate you showing what you would have done with a new bracket, too. Sub for sure.

Going for it tomorrow! 220 dollar microwave at Lowes, 225 dollars for install! Same brand I'm changing out. So hopefully it goes smoothly. Insane to me it cost more for install then the microwave itself. Thank you for the guidance.

Love this video sir! You just saved me $200 by not having HD do this. It’s amazing hoe much money you can save doing stuff yourself.

Thanks for this video. Our microwave stopped heating and think it’s cheaper to replace it opposed to a serviceman charging for his expertise. I will replace it myself ❤

Hey Colton, it's your neighbor that moved out about a year ago!

I was looking for a tutorial on this today and happened to land on your channel. We had no idea you had so many great tutorials posted. Haha We look forward to watching them.

Hope you guys are doing well! ☺️

I've watched several of these and they all seem similar. Unplug the microwave, remove the top screws and the microwave should come out. I have an older Kenmove (1990 vintage) that died and I went to replace it today. It looks like all of these in the videos. There are two top screws, score. Removed them but the microwave is solidly held in position and I mean solid, no wiggle, no sliding at all. Checked the cupboards on each side for any additional screws, no. On one side there is an enough of a gap between the microwave and the cabinet to run a straight edge up and down, no other bolts seem to be there. Removed the bottom frame piece holding the lights to see if there are any bolts, nothing. Suggestions on what to look at next?

Nice video! What are the chances of a Frigidaire mounting bracket and holes lining up on replacing a unit 20 years old? I am looking to replace a model#PLMV169DCC with a model# FMOS184LBF.

Home Depot wants $149 to do this and another $50 to haul the old microwave away.

Never buy a microwave for over your range or cooktop. Buy a microwave cabinet and just place a microwave in it. When it dies just unplug it and buy another for less money and place it on the shelf
