I cannot get the image to come out correctly with this kit. I am following the directions for the emulsion, allowing it to dry for at least 4 hours in a completely dark space and then exposing it for 8 minutes at 16 inches with the provided light. When I go to rinse the unexposed emulsion out, the exposed emulsion comes with it in areas of fine detail. I have tried several attempts, slightly increased the exposure time, and tried using a small, soft brush but that tends to pull the exposed emulsion off as well. Any suggestions?

Is that a uv lamp? Are they safe to use or do you need protective equipment?

Is the transparency face up or face down when exposing?

I want to get this for my kids. Ive done a lot of screen printing at larger operations, but wanted something 'bite size' for the kids. so, What is the image printed on? Looks kinda like a vellum or trace, as it's translucent. Which would be easier for my kids to use than transparencies with the home set up. Let me know. Thanks

The screen in the kit is 10x14, this is a tutorial of how to use the kit. How long do you expose it on this screen with this lamp and from what distance? That is an important detail you left out. Please answer @speedball_art
Overall, this is a bad tutorial video, it is missing so much information and its essentially useless. It would be great if you can make an actual tutorial and not half ass it.
