Aggressive Sound. If you want to add an old school rumble to your S550 GT, check out this Stainless Works 3" Retro Chambered Catback with H-Pipe. You get a nice, deep rumble thanks to the included H-pipe, combined with the retro chambered mufflers that have some baffling to eliminate rasp. You can use this catback on any 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT. This system is designed to work with the factory manifold still in place, but it can connect to Stainless Works long tube headers. Durable Build. You get a high quality product with this catback, in part because it's made of 304 stainless steel throughout. The tubing steps up from 2.5 inches to a full 3 inches in diameter, with mandrel bends, while the 4-inch conical wall mirror polished tips make for a great presentation at your car's rear. This catback is also 22 pounds lighter than the stock system. Easy Setup. This is an easy upgrade to put on your Mustang, so even inexperienced people can take on this job. Plan on it taking you about two hours. You'll need sockets, wrenches and other basic tools, plus a way to get under the car safely, like jack stands or a lift. The catback just bolts into place using factory mounting locations, so you don't need to drill or cut anything.

From Stainless Works:
Stock 5.0 exhaust is 74 db, this SW exhaust is 93 db.

I have SW long tubes with this catback exhaust. This setup most certainly has drone on the highway, I have no issue dropping to fifth at 70 or 75 mph on an incline. 6th at 80 mph certainly has a mild drone, but it's not awful. This exhaust is super effin loud on a cold start up. Other than that, this exhaust sounds so ridiculously sick... especially when you're tearing through the gears and WOT. I can't tell you how many people pull next to me at a stop and tell me how awesome the car sounds.

this is the exhaust I use. best sounding exhaust for the s550 imo, but it does drone pretty bad in 5th and 6th around 1800-2300rpm.

SO this system has under car "chambered" straight through pipes and then also "chambered" straight through mufflers at the rear of the car? What does it sound like without those rear "mufflers"?

Best sound exhaust I've heard. So I installed these on my '15. Super pleased with everything BUT "zero drone" is complete bullshit. On the highway I spend way too much energy trying to keep the drone down. Only perfect neutral throttle will keep it down. I have to be 70mph and up in 6th to knock it down. Other than that, best sound ever and I've heard this from other people as well

How much more drone should I expect if I got the LMF version?

Are chambered exhausts specific to muscle cars or are there options for compacts ie Focus ST?
