Hello, Sean. I didn't expect to see you here today. Nice surprise.
Excellent, excellent tut, as always - very well tied into the V4 panel. The 'extra' tips were especially good.
Thank you,
Guy P.

Thanks Sean! Does this solve some problems with previously difficult scenes in which refine wasn't perfect enough for trees in the foreground and stuff? I'm trying to recall how u managed in some of your later luminosity mask tutorials with difficult blending/luminosity selection scenes.

In short, is this saving you time in your work flow to previous versions?

Hi Shawn, Thanks for clarifying this so simply. I am new to photo shop, once you go through these steps, how to I save the layers and get it back to lr from photoshop cc, also do you have a basic tutorial on layering, masking in general in photoshop.thanks much.

Hi Sean, thx for the vid - very helpful as always. Is there an option now for reducing the opacity of the mask? I think before when you double-clicked on the mask there was an option to do this. I can't seem to find it now.

Thanks for the advice! Really looking forward to trying this! At the end of the video you mention that you can TK panel to refine the selection and it will take you directly to the new dialog / functionality. Do I need to update the panel for this to work as you demonstrate and mention?

wow, excellent, will this replace how you do exposure blending in your tutorials such as exposure blending for extending dynamic range?

Hi Sean,
Have you been using the new select and mask tool extensively? Have you encountered any sort of difficulties with the refine edge tool? I have used in very different pictures and I find the new refine edge tool to work way worse than the older one. I did some research and I have found more people complaining about the new refine edge algorithm. Just asking. Thanks
