In Belobog there’s a person you can interact with near the theatre (near Tamila). Interact with it for 3 consecutive days and after the 3rd convo, you would have the option to talk to him again (as shown in the video). If you completed all four interactions with him you’ll get the “The Mandela Effect” achievement.

Had goosebumps when Gepard said there was no back alley in Belobog 😨

The fact that the narration alone is repeating the line "His smile is stiff as a board" tells us how unsettling this is. 😰😰

gepard just likes to fuck with the MC, he knows about the alley

bruh... Jarilo-VI is haunted, so many ghost and weird shit happening everywhere.
- this bit with the haunting on the theater.
- you got 2 ghost twins at the hotel, that want you to play with them FOREVER.
- a secret quest in Rivet town, you have to talk to a girl (weak female voice) behind the window. that most likely be ghosts.
- a mysterious phonebooth in backwater pass. a call from a person who died long ago by the Fragmentum.

The fact that before this there was "something" hunting down the back alley residents...

Can you imagine being gepard and the Mc casually texting u shit like “the voices say you have the key”

The weak female voice quest was pretty sad and disturbing. Apparently it was a bloodborne reference where the girl who was looking for the ribbon offed herself after learning her sister was dead.

It seems there are multiple endings with this man, where he suddenly disappears and never comes back..
I got the version where in the last interaction with him, he says "they" are going to get him or something, but I can't remember the exact line.. it was in red text.. and I never saw him again...

i really like how the narration in this game is like another person whenever you interact with things. The constant “His smile is as stiff as a board” to me is like this narrator warning us, at least thats how it seems to me

Y'know when you started this mini quest other people was walking in that Back Alley, then one by one they slowly disappear like the man your talking-to until this Happens.

I have a theory that all this creepy shit happening in Jarilo VI is due to the Stellaron we know the world's space time isn't as stable especially inside the fragmentum where creepy shit happens with the telephone booth call, the girl trapped in the box maze and etc.

This backalley alongside the shining reference in the hotel could easily be chalked up to space time being out of wack.

Just wantef to thrown in the probably already repeated comment - Its a Mandela Catalouge refrence. We can deduct this from the name of the achievement (The Mandela Effect) and the fact of what happens to the guy. At first there is scared that something is after everyone wanting to replace them - something that alternates in the series do. He goes mad and suddenly he acts drastically different with a smile, stiff as a board. Because that is an alternate that was chasing him.
Honestly I am suprised that Hoyo took something from the western web series.

Oh I didn't know you texted gepard if you picked of course! I picked impossible and he said something in the lines of "you'll open it when the time comes". Gepard's one is more creepy lmao.

LONG COMMENT AHEAD:

Honestly, Jarillo VI has to be my favourite world so far just for the really good hidden stories and easter eggs. Cyrille's was very very sad. You can continue encountering her throughout Belobog after the first few puzzles and you'll find out that she was a Supreme Guardian once but she wasn't known for great feats— her title was Cyrille The Fool.

To put it simply, she was looking for her missing sister, Cyrilla and this was the person that should've become Supreme Guardian. But one day, Cyrilla disappeared right before her coronation and this lead Belobog into disarray. Enter the Ministry.

They suddenly brought up that Cyrille was just as good as Cyrilla and appealed for her to become the Supreme Guardian instead but here's the thing; Cyrille wasn't a prodigy like her sister.

Hence, the way she speaks of the man named Stefan. Constantly having to be perfect, to only act a certain way. It's essentially just grooming.

Cyrille does not know how to be a Supreme Guardian. She was elected at some point thanks to Stefan for recommending her but this wasn't done out of love or reverence— far from it. It's speculated that he just wanted Cyrille to be Supreme Guardian so that the Ministry has power over the nation themselves, and so they made Cyrille the puppet. Kind of like the puppet King Fritz in Attack on Titan.

This soon plunged the nation into more chaos. With people rallying up against the incompetent Supreme Guardian, ultimately Cyrille was assassinated... or should I say, she was stuffed in a box and was thrown over a cliff. Which is why her puzzles are all boxes. I represents her state of mind, the confusion and embarassment that she was stuck in for what seems to be a limbo.

Sorry for the long paragraphs but this story in particular stuck with me the most and it's just so sad.

It’s creepy because the last time you talked with this guy, he kinda was running away from something and now he acts differently..
