I have a L7 model in blue and generally concur with all your positive comments, the bike is fantastic, fast, relatively comfortable, handles well, and is totally addictive. Improvements I have made are a carbon hugger, essential with the weather in the uk. A fender eliminator was fitted when bought secondhand. Best thing was having the suspension set up professionally for fast road, the standard front preload was set too hard for me (154 lbs weight), reducing that made the front slightly softer and improved the feel massively.

Agree with the “fit” statement. I’m only comfortable on the S1k and GSXR, others feel too wide to me.

4-14-25 Thanks for the video B. I’m collecting the reviews on this bike because I bought the exact same one today. Something that you said about the chain. Can you explain that for me ? Are you going to swap out the chain at 250 mi or are you adjusting the slack ? Keep in mind I’m not the brightest bulb & I have limited knowledge about motorcycle chains . I look to this platform to learn what i can and so far, in my opinion, new bike chain maintenance videos are a bit conflicting with one another making it difficult to discern good maintenance from better maintenance or wrong maintenance practices to the chain. i have the same exact bike and have about 400mi so far. i second all your takes it feels so fast but safe, and the color in direct sunlight is truly a marvel. they say its dated but its the first stock candy paint suzuki.

Was that fender eliminator already installed when you purchased it? I had weird issues with NRC eliminator on my '25 GSX-R 1000RZ.

I have a question about the bike changing the oil and oil filter can you change it without taking the fairing off my old 2005 Hayabusa it's a pain in the ass changing the oil.
