We get to take the Yamaha Star Eluder Motorcycle out for a test ride while at Daytona Bike week at the Daytona International Speedway. Great day for a test ride! Weather was perfect, the roads were clear. see what we think of the new Yamaha Star Eluder!

Damn you you're riding my bike!!!! I rode the same one and I want one. Very nice sound too. They had us doing 60 in the mountains. So fun.

Radial mount brakes are what they didn't put on, but they have them on their sportbike that cost half as much and weighs half as much. The aluminum frame is what they forgot, but not on their sportbikes that cost half as much.

When I demo rode the Star Eluder, I didn't realize that the fairing was fixed to the frame, similar to the Harley Davidson Road Glide. A higher windshield, l feel would cut down on some of the wind noise. Thanks for the ride along! Safe Travels.

I dropped a deposit on one this past Friday. Just waiting for the dealership to locate one for me... Impact Blue Base Model (non-GT) and some dealer accessories added to it. It will replace my 2012 V-Star 1300T with 66, 000 miles on it. Some have complained about the heat from the rear jug, but I tolerate heat better than most so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

How did you get to Daytona? Fly and rent a bike there?
Did you or have ridden the Venture yet? Only about 100 lbs. more.
