If your kid doesn't like the crust put it inside the sandwich once its cut, after a little while their body will start accepting the taste of the crust and eventually accept it, cause if you don't give it to them as a kid they will avoid it for life.

I do this for a dessert or a I make a regular peanut butter and jelly with a twist. I use white bread (if you use wheat or multi grain bread you're a sociopath. And you're a serial killer if you use that natural organic peanut butter that you have to stir) than spread my creamy jiff on both sides. Than the strawberry or boysenberry jam, a layer of whipped regular or strawberry cream cheese.

I learned to put peanut butter on both sides of the bread and jelly on top. That way the jelly doesn't make the bread soggy.
