How I Got 500 FPS At 256 Render Distance..

Minecraft's performance just got a HUGE upgrade. This mod allows you to get 100x the FPS at INSANE render distances such as 128 and 256. The mods name? Nvidium.

few things I didn't mention:
- Nvidium only works with *Nvidia GPUS*
- Nvidium requires a GTX 1630 and higher

it also doesn't work with shaders :(

256 chunks is 4x as many as 128, because it's 128/256 in every direction, and it's squared, 128x128 is 16, 384 total chunks, 256x256 is 65, 536 total chunks, that's why it didn't fit in your vram, even a 4090 wouldn't be enough, you'd need at least 48gb, and for 512 render distance you'd need like half a tb of vram since that would be 262, 144 total chunks (for reference 32 render distance is 1024 total chunks)

the fact that f3 reduces fps too, but with nvidium you can see nothing much difference still 1, 400fps

Guiny!!! Btw our 4070 ti’s are being with a ti super variant, FOR THE SAME RELEASE PRICE AS THE 4070 TI. Higher core counts higher everything, and rather than only having 12gb of VRAM, it has 16 GB of VRAM

Theres also apparently a multi threading mod which should (for obvious reasons) make performance WAY better, and vulkan mod which ports the game to the vulkan engine which is way newer than Minecrafts opengl. I havent tried the multithreading one yet but ive tried vulkan and its amazing.

when they add shader support to this, Im instantly gonna install it. For now though Im gonna be staying with distant horizons for shaders though

When I put the mod right at the beginning I see everything with the texture that the distant horizons give you in the distance, and that makes me know that the mod does not work for me and yes, I have it in the same version, I changed from forge to fabric and I even left the mod alone, installed the most current version of Java 8, updated drivers and it still doesn't work
