For those who wanted me to dive into affinities/priorities.. if that’s where the bulk of benefit comes from then you really don’t need process lasso, especially since some anti cheats don’t allow for game modification like that and will still run as if it was never changed at all

I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and a i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz with 16 GB of RAM.

After installing process lasso, I saw and felt a major difference to my performance on Counter-Strike 2. Before installing lasso I was averaging around 120-180 fps and whenever there were smokes and molotov's on the map, my fps would drop to nearly 80-100 fps every time. And than after installing lasso, I was averaging around to 200-280 fps, I'm very happy about it :)

I also do play all low settings and my resolution is 4:3 (1280x1024).

Great video as always Khorvie.
I've been using Process Lasso for 5 years now, and it's now become an essential tool for me.
Helps check what's eating CPU in the background if i get stutters or drops in games and the most useful feature for me is the per-process power plan.
I've got the Ultimate Performance power plan setup to unpark all E and P cores and disable frequency scaling when a game running, and made it automatically go back to the Balanced power plan with Core Parking and frequency scaling enabled when i quit out of games.
Honestly, at this point it's almost essential for me.

Hey as a counterstrike guy who uses process lasso, one of the main reasons to use process lasso is for the sticky core affinity settings. (Sticky as in it's set it and forget it, unlike task manager where you have to set affinity every time the program launches)
If you untick core 0 it'll leave that core for windows processes and run your game on the other cores, which is a huge benefit for 1% and .1% lows, and a small benefit to average fps.
Ymmv based on your system of course.
