My favorite thing about vinyl is the collection of album covers. No other format offers the size that vinyl does. I often go to flea markets/yard sales/record stores and just buy records because the album art was subjectively appealing. Even though the music isn't always good, it has lead me to discovering some amazing stuff.

Italian Guitars. Released by Time Music in the early '60s, I picked this up at a flea market for 50 cents. It is one of the most beautifully recorded albums I've ever heard.

My favorite part of the whole vinyl experience is keeping my vinyl albums clean. Crate digging is amazing fun, finding the albums on my wish list is even better. But the act of wet cleaning the albums is sublime in itself. Because clean and well maintained vinyl just sounds better.

Bro that feeling when you've been looking for that album and you see a random record store, pull over and go in for a minute, and BOOM, there it is.

My favorite part of record collecting is digging through crates and finding new music, especially if it's one of those records you've been looking for forever to find.

Newbie, and I found the video to be informative. You are very helpful and your voice is soothing.

RCA Diskwasher: a moderately expensive way to grow mold with which to eventually scum your records. A "must have" accessory.

I started collecting 45's and 33s around 1960, i still have all my records today. i have not played my Turntable in over 30 years.... i have been into CD's now.
Yesterday i pulled out my Tech Turntable and my Pioneer Turntable and the both would not spin. i got belts for both and now they work. Then i followed your advise and went step by step. Now i'm enjoying my Records again. They do sound different. I can't believe i still have over 3000 45s. I"m enjoying again.

One of my fav things about vinyl records is the hunt for the next one. Wether it's ordering one from Discogs and awaiting it's arrival, or discovering a gem in the wild after hours of crate digging, the hunting process never gets old IMO.

Thank you very much for your vinyl videos. I am an old dog learning new tricks. I've been watching your videos for only a very short time and have already learned more about vinyl and Records watching your videos than I have in 64 years of purchasing record players and playing vinyl on my own. So take care of young man and keep spinning the vinyl videos

You're the man! You always explain things so well—organized, concise, in a calm, friendly demeanor. I'm going to search your channel, but I might have some questions related to power amps/preamps as I am in the market for both and trust your judgment.

My favorite part is being old enough to not have to think about pre amps.

Got my AT LP120 today, followed your set up guide, easier to follow than the book. Fist record to spin is Nat King Cole. I am happy in my choice of record, and player. Thanks for the info and helping me make the decision.

Excellent video. I have been a long time subscriber and recently bought an LP 120 on your recommendation and took a lot of your setup advice. Really chuffed.

Thanks for compiling all the separate videos into one. Took me about 20 odd minutes to do all this, but my Pioneer PL-445 is playing records again.
