What is rental reimbursement

Rental Reimbursement on your personal auto policy is the coverage that allows you to rent a vehicle after you have been in an accident and you have a covered claim.

It is paid on a per day basis and will have a max of up to 30 days coverage. In order to have rental reimbursement you will need to have physical damage coverage which includes Comprehensive and Collision.

Standard limits use to be $30 per day but since the cost of renting a vehicle has increased it is important that you adjust your coverage.
