As a private pilot myself i have two things to say: If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t. And, Check your notams, you should be doing a weather brief before each and every flight, within those leidos weather briefs there is a section solely dedicated to Notams and Adverse weather conditions.
There is NO excuse for flying into a TFR, especially LAX airspace, in which even if you are using VFR corridors you NEED to be monitoring approach/departure, or guard (121.5)

For those who don't know there's a website called SkyVector where TFRs are showing in red (or orange if not active yet) over the area they cover. Kinda hard to miss even if you didn't get a full briefing (which you should anyways)

If the media did a story on each GA pilot that has busted either the outer or inner ring of a TFR each time one is active. They wouldn’t have enough time to cover other things. Like 5 people bust the TFR every weekend Joe visits home in Wilmington.

“On guard” means 121.5 on the radio. It’s the universal frequency that you should have on comm 2 when flying, though it’s not a requirement. He probably didn’t have the guard frequency tuned in, that’s why the pilot said they didn’t try to get a hold of him.

Not defending the pilot but I didn’t even know Biden was in town. I doubt Biden knows where he is either.

I'm just a drone pilot and I saw the TFR days in advance. This guy sounds like he was screwing around. Claims he didn't hear any warnings from the fighter jets yet they were clearly broadcasting. Probably deserves to lose the license at this point.

It’s extremely easy to get NOTAMs now, but TFRs like this can pop up at the last minute. Gotta be on your toes, especially around large cities.
