Kara is right and she isn't transphobic in saying so. She's not denying trans folks humanity, and she's not saying they don't see themselves as women. What she's saying is that women refers to anatomy and science, and scientifically they aren't truly women.

Regardless of a woman’s ability or desire to conceive or menstruate, our female sexed bodies are organized around the capability to birth offspring. Our organs, our hormones, even our skeletal structure is organized around this one task; the propagation of our species. The male body is organized around and optimized for bipedal locomotion. This is why men are stronger and faster than women. Regardless of anyone’s feelings or “identity”, this is the truth.

I'm really trying to understand this. What does it mean to "feel like a woman" or "feel like a man"? As a biological woman, I don't even know what it feels like to be a woman. I just feel like a person. I have female anatomy so I'm a woman. If I was born with male anatomy, I would be a man. What is it that draws someone to alter their bodies in an extreme way?
