Side-kick swimming drills help swimmers to maintain the straightest body position in the water for the fastest, most efficient freestyle swim stroke.

With the help of an Endless Pools Fastlane system, Coach Paul Newsome will show you both left- and right-side kicking drills. He also offers useful tips for hand, elbow, and shoulder positioning. This drill should also help you to find imbalances in a swimmer’s body symmetry.

Crossing the front hand to the far side of the body is a common freestyle swimming error, reducing a swimmer's efficiency in the water. The steady Endless Pools swim current helps you correct this arm/body position by guiding you out of its flow if you're not keeping your arm straight.

Note: beginning around the 1:48 mark, the water distorts the size of the Fastlane unit in relation to the swimmer. The Fastlane unit measures just 34" tall, 18" deep, and 29" wide.
