They are not beginner guitars, I have been playing guitar for 60 years, I have the sonic telecaster and the sonic strat. Lovely guitars.

Absolutely SOLD on that Esquire and that HTH Strat. Totally fit my style of play.

Can't wait for the white Esquire with maple fretboard. Just found a Fender Double Tap humbucker pickup used for $50, it's an absolute budget build.

I hope we get a full review at some point, whether or not the body is routed for an HH setup under the pickguard, and if it has full body thickness. For a mod project this is a relative cheap way to get an HH body, if it has those options.

Just ordered the esquire, with a bunch of upgrades parts to metal it up a bit. (Locking tuners, nazgul pickup, a graph tech nut)

Cool video! These look like a fun refresh of the bullet. One quibble— it’s totally untrue that neck/middle pickups exercise enough magnetic pull on the strings to effect the sound of the bridge pickup. This is an old myth.

I REALLY want the Sonic Mustang SS in Torino Red. It's so pretty with the maple fretboard. I already have a Bullet Mustang in Imperial Blue that I modded the crap out of with a neck shim to pitch it back slightly, P90s, locking tuners, roller trees and a white pearl pickguard, but the new Sonic is just begging me to buy it. I'll probably lightly mod it too, at least locking tuners, roller trees and maybe a different color pickguard.

Is this thinner than the new Affinities? For me the thinner the better.

these look amazing and i will get that pink bridge humbucker hardtail strat 100%. that's almost exactly the guitar i wanted to build from parts.

Wonder if the Esquire is a solid body or if it is routed under the Pickguard?

I can see my self modding the heck out of that pink start and make it my guitar for weezer, Green Day, etc (but maybe I’m a bit too old for that, lol)

What I want to know is how good the action is. It is not a bargain guitar if it arrives with fret sprout and high frets impeding the playability. Neither should the intonation be off. It does not go from China to my doorstep so Fender should have techs to intervene before shipping it's last 'mile'.

The one that is completely black is very beautiful, the advantage is that it is also affordably priced.

I prefer the ones made in Mexico in the Fender group. I think they are of slightly better quality and I find that they are more than enough, even for professionals. However, even the Squier’s that I presume are made in China must be very decent .

Between Sonic and affinity strat, which one better about qualities?

Is the sss strat routed for a humbucker in the bridge?

That bit at the end sounds like either the song from the GTA V trailer or some music from the Driver PS1 games

Hi, I'm now the proud owner of two, yes two Squier sonics, one a right hand sun burst Strat and a Black Squier sonic Lefty!
You might wonder why the Lefty? Well I'm an ancient newby and found that I was suferring a lot of pain in my left thumb (possibly arthritis?)
so I thought that a Lefty might be the answer! Too soon to say, but the Black looks really cool, maybe I'llend up playing like David Gilmore (not much chance of that!) cheers ~Richard 🎸🎸

to bad only the Stratocaster single coils in black is available for lefty's. would have loved the bass or the ssh and in a bright color

From what I understand metal guitars usually have a humbucker, so would the HSS or HTH be better for metal?

Is the esquire routed in the neck area or is it solid? I'm hoping its solid with no routing for a pickup. I hope its not just a regular tele body with a pickguard covering the routed area.
