Truly appreciate this! Many people forget asthma can be fatal.

Thanks for the concern and supportive advice, Roger. Being in CA I know you realize how tough it's been for the past month and a half with the continued wildfire smoke and soot. All the particulates have caused me the worst asthma attacks of my life. I live in Washington state which is still under a heavy haze air quality alert.

I'm from SEA, Doc. but I'm in the UK currently. My asthma worsened in the past two years due to the extreme heat and humidity in my home country esp. during the hotter/summer months. I'm on Symbicort Rapihaler and Montelukast. Thank You for the reminders.

My son has told me that since he has increased his vitamin D....it has contributed to him not having to use his medication!

Asthma treatment has made some impressive advancements over the last 50 years or so. We went from things like "asthma cigarettes" and epi inhalers to tri-component inhalers and biologics. Imagine the poor sufferers living with asthma before interventions existed!

I see an allergist and have my asthma mostly controlled but when my allergies really get going I'm reminded I have lungs. I'm getting allergy shots now and hope it will eventuality clear up my year-long post-nasal drip. Every year it's getting worse and it's time to reverse course.

Thank you for your excellent education.

Hello Dr, thank you. Please make a video about the consequences after COVID in ICU for 3 months. What are the studies to help so much people with longs fibrosis, neuropathy, etc…. Thank you 🤗

Any asthma sufferers with steroid dependent disease I implore you to find out if you’re a candidate for Dupixent. That drug changed my life, ask your doctor! Good luck!

Is there any research on asthma symptoms and vitamin d status? My daughter seemed to have a much better time with hers during a period I was giving her nhs recommended dosage with covid in mind.

Hi Dr thanks for your great videos! When you do some of your longer videos, may you please add a summary/abstract section in the beginning? Thanks! Like if you agree

I can't even tell you how many times I've asked pts "How often do you use Albuterol?" and gotten answers like "3-4 times per day, every day for the past few years." Always blows my mind that some physician has been approving those refills without actually addressing the issue.

Dry air from outdoors and our furnaces running all day/night has caused me chronic cough and post nasal drip. Is Flonase Nasal Spray safe to use longterm? It’s the only thing that profoundly helps me with these symptoms.
