This is one of the buildings I would buy if I ever won the lottery. There’s quite a few in Ashland that’s way over priced but in great locations. It’s sad that greedy owners keep these buildings from being great businesses.

I live in Ashland, grew up here and came back. It's still here. Wish I could have bought it and opened a new game rental place in its stead.
So much of my childhood was spent in there.

I live about 5 minutes from here. I pass it daily for work. A pan shot would show you an abandoned foodfair next to it. making the whole block look dystopian and give you a good idea what most of the area looks like. And what the city is currently trying to cover up

This is my city. There are still movie ads on the windows, "Get Him To Greek" is one. Its very depressing to see especially since I grew up going there to rent movies. Also not shown in the same parking lot is the rotting remnants of a beloved grocery store Foodland that was flooded several years ago and the insurance refused to help bc he didn't have specific flood insurance (it was in a spot that had not flooded before) and the city refused to help despite outcry from the community. All of it needs torn down to be honest. Blockbuster building could have been save a few years ago but I think its been too long now. It breaks my heart.

I live here in Ashland. Went to this BB regularly. It's just locked up, like a time capsule. Its kinda eerie seeing it before opposed to now. 🧐
