Ashland has a wonderful small town feel. There are plenty of places to eat, the schools are really nice, and people are super friendly. The town is very walker friendly as well. Central Park is beautiful, with a lot of people playing tennis, walking, and visiting the dog park.

Lived here for a for a year. I can tell you one thing for sure. You ether love it or absolutely hate it. No in between. They are trying to build up the town again but it will never happen

Actually I think Mayfield Kentucky is more depressing. It had a devastating tornado in December 2021 and there's no money to rebuild anything.
It was financially depressed before the tornado and its much much worse now.
