Those aftermarket 1uz manual bellhousings are huge. I never have clearance issues using the adapter plate/ automatic bellhousing kits. The automatic bellhousings are smaller

2:10 that is the cold start injector temp sensor. Only used on very early 1UZ. The plug you have should go into the sensor you broke and the cold start one isn't used.

Too bad your sponsors can't purchase a detached workshop building for you with a 2 post lift.

Just wondering if you did anything special to get your tach working on the spitronics setup? I double checked that I hooked mine up correctly and made sure it’s outputting in the software and still don’t get any needle movement.

Ive seen ppl use an air hammer to reshape a trans tunnel. It looked like a great idea.

If you remove your front tires to pull an engine it will make your life easier. Like not dropping an engine and transmission at full boom height. My ceiling in my garage is low and unfinished like yours. with and now without a 3" body lift not ounce did my hoist hit the ceiling joist.

Your probably right about modifying the flor board to get things to fit, but I would say should also try measuring before your final decision. If you think about it why not just a 1" body lift, that's as tall as 3". Then modify the tabs on the bellhousing and probably fit with or without messaging the floor board. I personally would have came up with more ideas to avoid modifying the floorboards. It is always best to have your transmission and t-case bolted to the engine and installed by the crossmember. Your engine needs some angle for oil drain back, you don't want you engine level. Also need to take into account how you rig sites at ride height and how it sits, because that will be your angle from which all other angles will derive from.

I took measurements and angles when I did my 3.4l swap with also taking into account of suspension travel with no body lift. I'm actually thinking of adding a one inch body lift for an intake modification that will raise the intake plenum 1". The 1" body lift will give clearance for the plenum and the hood, it will also let me raise the t-case an inch. Only thing I need to take a closer look is the fan shroud and radiator.
