No doubt, this has to be one of the best concerts ever recorded on film. At the pinnacle of their careers.

Steve’s guitar is just so haunting and dark.
He doesn’t have to say anything.
The pain is all there for the world to see.

Steve Clark was the heart & soul of def leppard.

If you're a genuine Leppard fan you would say 'this version' is the penultimate version of yet another Steven Maynard "The Riffmaster" Clark's brilliant lyrical + musical genius. As good as Vivian is he simply cannot replicate Steve's loose hand, the way Steve is endlessly using his Kahler, adjusting his knobs on one of his 3 'Firebirds'. This gig arguably 'is' the best gig they ever played - the early raw French/German gigs were just an entree for what was to come. "Steamin" had it all.

This is probably as close to a 'spiritual' rock experience you can get if you're a Def Lep fan, Steve Clark RIP brother thank you for the memories ...

The lower BPM really suits this song for the live version. This hits really hard

I was there on 2/12/88! First concert ever, I've been to a lot of concerts since and none have matched the energy of that night and the crowd there.

Rest In Peace Steve. Sins of the father mate, tragic loss.

The slowed down version is almost haunting. Their best song by far. Epic in nature and better here.

I dare anyone to challenge me in finding a better version of this song live, good luck this song live here is perfection.

Joe Elliott was quoted once as saying, “Steve Clark was God Almighty on the guitar.”
This video illustrates that PERFECTLY!
RIP Steve. 💔
