When I was 11-14 yrs old DL was my favorite band. I'm 52 now! They kinda lost me at Hysteria, but they still sound amazing and the old songs still hit me in the feels

My fav live version of this will always be the 1988 in the round. Talk about haunting. Everything about that recording was perfect. The vocals, guitars, drums. The raw energy they had. Leppard at their absolute best imo. Rock hall of Fame performance. Still gives me goosebumps and chills

I took my daughter to see them in in 2015 in Lafayette, La. Her first live concert was when her mom was 7 months pregnant at a Def Lepp show in 1988 in Baton Rouge, La. Full circle and an awesome show.

If this song was on high and dry that would be the perfect album. This is imo, their best song. It always gets me...when I was 12 and when I am 53. Leppard was never my favorite band and after Pyromania I thought they were pretty bad BUT...Joe still sounds good. I listen to a few of those 80 bands today to see how some of the screamers have kept their voices going and most have not. Age gets us all. Props to Joe.

it's something to see all the bands age, it's the same with all of them. Just like our bodies get older and the voice is never the same voice as when their young. None of the singers are ever as good as when they were young. They can't carry the note like they could when younger. It's a fact. I love this song, but i will go back and look at it 20 years ago when they were awesome.

I actually only heard this song for the first time, through watching this *exact* performance, a few months ago. I've listened to the original recording since and, in my honest opinion, I think this is an example of how down tuning a song can actually improve it.
