Reaction to Church of the Highlands controversy in Birmingham

If a pastor to a to a private church isn’t allowed to even press a ‘like’ button, the the principals and board members sure as heck should not be able to say anything about anything politics.
I have heard PC (Pastor Chris) talk and is probably the least politic driven person while school systems are teaching critical race theory and saying that going trans is the way to go. Yeah *definitely* no politics in schools!
People are just plain stupid these days.

Jesus offended many with His words, but he always spoke the truth of God. Wish we had the actual post reported to see whether it was incongruent with Hodges confession of faith or violated biblical principles. Or this is damage control for the namesake of the church?

I Was Working At Highlands Church For Some Years, Many Bad Things Happen Behind The Scenes Highlands Covers Up. Like I Was On Parking Team Years 4 Years And Was Hit By A Driver, Highlands Church Said It Was Sinful For Me To Write A Report With An Officer. Highlands Turned Their Back On Me & Wouldn't Even Help My Radio Ministry Unless I Joined Their Small Groups. I Tried Getting The Highlands To Help An Orphanage In Africa I Help Every Month & Highlands Wouldn't Help At All. They Want To Put Up More Churches & Not Use The Cash To Feed The Poor 😢
I Left The Church Because Of This & Their Teachings Don't Lineup With God.

He should have never apologized for his agreement with christian conservative values. If the hoard doesn't agree with conservative values then let them be given over to their sinful nature. Charlie Kirk is an American patriot, who is conservative and a President Donald Trump supporter. Charlie Kirk is not a far right activist. I am a conservative Christian with conservative values who voted for President Trump in 2016. I will vote for him again in November 2020. I fully support Pastor Chris Hodges. The Birmingham Board of Education and the Housing Authority have done an injustice to the Christians of every color, who worshipped together in The Church of The Highlands. How wrong you are, to kick out a Christian worship service. It’s disgusting.

I have been a member of COTH for 12 years. Pastor Chris being my spiritual leader and liking social media posts that would led me to question whether he is truly for me or against me is hurtful. In my opinion, he should not have put himself in a predicament such as this; however NO ONE is perfect. Sometimes God brings our "ugly...ungodly" attributes to the light so He can make us new, and more like Him. I hope this is the case for Pastor Chris, and that this is God refining him.
